‎The Iraohor community, part of the Avianwu clan in Etsako Central LGA, has emerged as a significant player in local politics.

‎The  community metamorphosed into  Ward 5  following the creation of Etsako central  local government through the singular  efforts of the late General Mike Akhigbe during the Sanni Abacha administration.

‎Despite producing notable personalities, the community feels sidelined in the local government chairmanship seat.

‎To address this, they’re backing a local candidate, Michael Ewela Abinokhauno, who has declared interest in the APC chairmanship race .

‎The community seeks to assert its influence in the upcoming local government election.

‎Abinokhauno, a seasoned politician, technocrat  and accountant, believes it’s time for Ward 5 to take the reins. “Given our consistent 100% votes for APC, it’s time for equity and recognition,” he said. With almost three decades of service at Auchi Polytechnic, he’s proven his mettle – from security personnel to lecturer.

‎His impressive track record includes key roles like Surveillance Officer, SIWES Account Head, and NASU Welfare Treasurer. Now, he’s eyeing the LGA chairmanship seat, seeking to bring change to Etsako Central .
