The lawmaker representing Egor/ Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Murphy Osaro Omoruyi has recruited 40 Ward Constituency Organizers in the two local government areas that make up his constituency as constituency organisers .
The Ward Constituency Organizers who were selected two each from the 20 wards that make up the two LGAs are to relate with the people at the grassroots, ascertain their concerns, yearnings, and developmental needs and relate same to him.
The Ward Constituency Organizers shall also see to the protection and safeguarding of projects and intervention efforts of the federal lawmaker across the twenty wards that make up Egor/ Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency.
While inaugurating the Ward Constituency Organizers in Benin City, Honorable Murphy Osaro Omoruyi enjoined them to always interact with the people so as to ascertain their concerns and needs and how such needs can be addressed.
Hon. Omoruyi equally used the opportunity of the inauguration to declare his preparedness to make a difference in the National Assembly and solicited the support of all.
Responding, the Ward Organizers who spoke at the inauguration expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for considering them worthy of the position .
While pledging to contribute their quota in working with Honorable Omoruyi in bringing government and development closer to the people, the forty Ward Constituency Organizers called on other government functionaries and representatives of the people to take a queue from Honorable Omoruyi noting that such gestures have the capability of reducing unemployment in the society.
