‎Edo Govt Approves Two Commissioner-Designates from Okpella

‎Etsako East Local Government Area has received approval for two Commissioner-Designates, following a similar nod for Etsako West LGA .


‎ The two nominees from Etsako East are Hon. Godwin Afekokhe Eshieshi and Prince Kassim Afegbua, both from the Okpella axis.


‎The  State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, recently  approved the nomination of four new  Commissioner-Designates.

‎The nominees are Ohimai Ehijimetor,
‎Eugenia Abdallah, Hon. Godwin Afekokhe Eshieshi and Prince Kassim Afegbua,


‎Hon. Godwin Afekokhe Eshieshi,  An astute politician, businessman, and community leader with degrees in Government and Public Administration, as well as International Relations.
‎He previously served as a Member of the Edo State House of Assembly and Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council.

‎While Prince Kassim Afegbua is
‎a  seasoned journalist, public affairs commentator, and politician with extensive experience in governance and media strategy.

‎ He served as Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Edo State and Special Adviser on Media to  former Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.


‎The Okpella community comprises four wards of Etsako East and presently produced  the Member representing Etsako federal constituency at the National Assembly , Hon Sunday Anamero
