Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Eugenia Abdallah, has called on residents to embrace the spirit of Easter by promoting peace, unity and support for the vulnerable.
In her goodwill message, Abdallah said Easter symbolises sacrifice, renewal and hope, urging Christians to reflect on the values of love, selflessness and forgiveness.
She paid tribute to the resilience of women, children and families, pledging the ministry’s continued protection and empowerment of vulnerable groups in line with the state government’s vision.
Abdallah encouraged citizens to show kindness within their communities and wished every household renewed hope, strength and joy this season.
