‎Alhaji Momoh  noted that the Hausa-Fulani community had previously made a similar request to join the local security outfit.

‎ The Otaru-in-Council assured that Auchi is a home for all law-abiding residents, but the Fulani volunteers will undergo comprehensive screening by police and local security leadership before admission

‎Community stakeholders are optimistic that the inclusion of Fulani residents in the local security outfit will enhance efforts to combat kidnapping and other crimes.
