The Enogie of Eyean, His Royal Highness, Osazuwa Iduriase has admonished women journalists in Edo state to always balance their reports for the good of the society.
The royal father stated this while playing host to the newly elected executives of Edo NAWOJ during a courtesy visit to his palace.
The Enogie further expressed joy and great admiration for the way women journalists in Edo State have conducted themselves while encouraging more of professionalism in the course of their job regardless of the financial benefit or inducement.
He urged them to always check for both sides of any story before publishing admonishing journalists as professionals ought not to be in a hurry to avoid partiality .
Chairperson of Edo State NAWOJ, Adesuwa Ehimuan while appreciating the Enogie of Eyean who has been a Patron of NAWOJ for over ten years, expressed optimism that the Enogie’s philanthropic gesture would be sustained.
